Born and raised between the mountains of western PA and waters of Nantucket island, Caty graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008. After graduation, she worked for a number of high-end design firms before having her first child in 2015. At that time, she put her career on pause to focus on her family. Nearly 4 years later, after her second son was born, Caty found a happy balance between designer and mother and founded Blake & Sons Architecture and Design, a custom residential architecture and design firm. Caty is a Virginia licensed architect and currently resides in the Laurel Highlands in PA with her equally talented husband and their two rowdy sons.
